lunchWelcome back to AIE! 

Summer offers a nice change of pace, but it’s nice when students return and the new semester gets underway.  To those who are just getting started, we’re glad to have you as part of the AIE community.

All AIE students are invited to our Student Welcome Lunch! Come along for free food and drink on Wednesday, 17 February from 12:30 to 1:30pm at the Canberra, Sydney, and Melbourne campuses.  Meet others studying with you at AIE!

Please let admin know if you would like a veggie option.

AIE and CIT combine forces to offer the
Bachelor of Games and Virtual Worlds (Programming)!

Partnership offers students best of both worlds


AIE and CIT are pleased to announce the Bachelor of Games and Virtual Worlds (Programming) being offered in partnership.

The BGames&VW(Prog) is a 3 year degree focused on producing graduates for the simulation, virtual worlds and games industries. IT students enrolling at our Canberra campus now have the option of enrolling in AIE's two year Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development or the Degree in partnership with CIT.

Information Session at AIE
Date: Tuesday 1st December
Time: 6pm
Venue: AIE – Canberra Technology Park Block E, 49 Phillip Ave Watson

Student copies of Autodesk Maya & 3D Studio Max

MayaThere are two ways to get your hands on a student copy of Autodesk Maya 2010 or 3D Studio Max 2010.

1. You can order a copy from StormFX using this order form attached to this post. You campus may be doing a bulk order for a number of students - just ask.

2. You can get a 6-month license at the Autodesk Education Community Website by following the link at the bottom of the post (you may need to login).
